ABOUT THE TEACHER
Carl Noonan is a Australian conceptual jewellery artist and founder of The Silversmith School. His current series, Symbiosis, will launch in late 2014. His Dodecahedron piece was a finalist work in the 2014 National Contemporary Jewellery Award.
Saturday 18th October 10am – 5:00pm
& Sunday 19th October 10am-5pm (followed by showcase & drinks for friends and family at The Atrium bar)
During this workshop, participants will build their skills and design and make two jewellery pieces from 100% recycled sterling silver:
+ A sterling silver pendant
+ A sterling silver ring
Participants will learn professional jewellery making skills including:
+ Use of professional trade tools: jewellery saw, jewellery files and emery paper.
+ The complex process of jewellery silver soldering.
+ Conceptual jewellery design skills.
Places are limited to 12 participants per workshop so book early!
